Abstract [sv]

Under tidig devon avslutades kollisionen mellan kontinenterna Baltica och Nordamerikanska plattan (inklusive Grönland) med bergskedjebildning som följd. Den kaledonska orogenesen var igång! I samband med det, stängdes också lapetushavet vilket ledde till att det som idag utgör Sverige blev torra land fråntidig devon och fram till början av jura.
